This program is being implemented with the collaboration of Grameen Bank. GBB and Grameen Bank launched this program from 2001 with the view to further development of the Grameen’s graduate members who has potential to more growth. GBB provides ‘Loan Guarantee’ to Grameen Bank in favor of the members. GBB is operating this program in 1579 Branches under 39 Zones (Working areas) of Grameen Bank. As on now, guarantee has been provided to 447,002 members of Grameen Bank. The total amount of loan guarantee is 1,446 crore ($ 2 bl.).

Types of micro enterprises to which guarantee has been given: Vegetables gardening, fruits gardening; poultry, dairy farming, beef fattening; nursery, lathe, motor workshops, grocery shop etc.

Many entrepreneurs/ farmers/ producers face loses only due to farming or doing their business in traditional/ backdated methods. GBB provides/arranges training for poor rural entrepreneurs so that they can handle their business in profitable manner. Side by side, GBB provides marketing assistance to poor entrepreneurs. As on now, GBB has provided technical and marketing assistance to 4200 entrepreneurs/ farmers.

Though all programs of GBB facilitate to create employment opportunities for Grameen borrowers and the poor people in the country, this program has been initiated by considering the needs of young generation of Grameen members. Under this program, Mobile Phone Servicing Training has been given to 184 family-members of Grameen borrowers. Out of them 160 family-members started their own servicing centers and rest 24 work as freelancer. On an average every person earns Tk. 6,000 ($ 86) per month.
